An intimate Ubiquitous Computing device like an iPhone extends memory, speech, hearing and nervous system. Removing it from my person and locking it away is like a self-inflicted virtual lobotomy.
I think the ability to go straight from a video phone up to Facebook, Twitter, etc. is going to be as transformational as the initial wave of YouTube creativity.
